Menu Bar එකේ කොටසක් විදිහට Standard Toolbar එකත් තියෙනවා. මේකේ ඇත්තේ SolidWorks® files manage කරන්න mostly use කරන common commands.
New, Open, Save, Print, Undo වගේ buttons හැම software ekakama වගේම වැඩ කරනවා —
- New → අලුත් part/assembly/drawing එකක් start කරන්න
- Open → existing SolidWorks® file එකක් open කරන්න
- Save → ඔයාගේ වැඩ save වෙන්න
- Print → model එකේ screenshot print කරන්න හෝ 3D print එකට ready කරන්න
- Undo → modeling process එකේ last action එක backward කරන්න
- Rebuild → Rebuild button එක කියන්නේ model එක update කරලා ඔයා recently change update කරන්න Use කරන Command එක, මේ command එකේ mainly තියෙන්නේ Computer එකේ Performance අඩු නම් කරන Changes automatically update වෙන්නේ නෑ ඒක නිසා, model එකට කරන latest changes properly show වෙන්න, ඔයාට change එකක් කරලා ඉවර වෙලා Rebuild button එක click කරන්න වෙන අවස්ථා තියෙන පුළුවන්.
Standard Toolbar එක basically ඔයාගේ day-to-day SolidWorks® workflow එක speed up කරන්න specially helpful toolbar එකක්.
Command Manager: Command Manager එක කියන්නේ context-specific command panel එක. ඔයා SolidWorks® එකේ මොකද කරන්නේ — part file එකක්ද, assembly එකක්ද, drawing එකක්ද — ඒ අනුව Command Manager එකේ commands change වෙනවා. SolidWorks® වල වැඩිපුරම use වෙන Command Manager tabs දෙක Features tab සහ Sketch tab එක. අදාල Command Manager tab එකට ගිහින් left mouse button එක click කරලා ඕනෙම Command Manager tab එකට switch වෙන්න පුළුවන්
Graphics Area: Graphics Area කියන්නේ SolidWorks® එකේ model එක create වෙන main working space එක. ඔයා model එකට interact කරන පුළුවන් මේ area එකේ. Graphics Area එක ඇතුලේ, model එකේ any element එකක් select කරන්න පුළුවන් — vertexes (points), edges, faces, planes, axes, features, bodies… basically model එක build වෙලා තියෙන හැම item එකම.
Heads-Up View Tool Bar: Heads-Up View Toolbar කියන්නේ Command Manager එකට පහළ, Graphics Area එක ඇතුලේ තියෙන toolbar එක. මේ toolbar එකෙන් model එක graphics area එකේ display වෙන්නේ කොහොමද කියලා control කරන්න පුළුවන්. මේකෙන් ඔයාට කරන්න පුළුවන්:
- Display Style change කරන්න (shaded, wireframe, hidden lines, etc.)
- View Orientation change කරන්න (Front, Right, Top, Isometric… වගේ)
- Items hide/show කරන්න
- Appearances edit කරන්න
- Zoom tools use කරන්න
- Section Views create කරන්න model එක cut කරලා view එක බලන්න
Basically, model එක visually control කරන්න ඔයා use කරන all view-related tools මේ Heads-Up toolbar එක ඇතුලේ.
Manager Pane: Manager Pane කියන්නේ SolidWorks® interface එකේ left side එකේ තියෙන multi-function panel එක. මේ panel එකේ top side එකේ tabs කිහිපයක් තියෙනවා —
- FeatureManager
- Property Manager
- ConfigurationManager
- DimXpert Manager (model-based definition use කරන වෙලාවට relevant)
- DisplayManager
මේ tabs ඔක්කොම manager pane එකේ top එකේ තියෙනවා,ඒවා switch කරලා model එකේ information manage කරන්න පුළුවන්.
Feature Manager Design Tree: Feature Manager Design Tree කියන්නේ SolidWorks® user interface එකේ තියෙන Main Functions එකක්. මේකේදී තමයි features manage කිරීම, edit කිරීම, suppress කිරීම, hide කිරීම වගේ සියලුම දේවල් කරන්න තියෙන්නේ. ඔයා new sketch එකක් හෝ feature එකක් create කරන එකම, ඒක Feature Manager Design Tree එකේ appear වෙනවා — create කළ order එකටම.
Feature Manager Tree එක contain කරන්නේ:
- Features
- Sketches
- Reference Geometry (planes, axes, points…)
- Origin
- Material designation
- Annotation folders (model-based definition relevant වෙද්දී)
- Sensors
- History of changes
Tree එකේ top එකේ තියෙන්නේ part name එක, ඒකට අමතරව active configuration, display state එකත් show වෙනවා.
Tree එකේ item එකක් side එකේ තියෙන little triangles කියන්නේ flyouts. මේවා left-click කරද්දි expand / collapse කරලා ඇතුලේ තියෙන details display කර ගන්න පුළුවන්
Property Manager: Property Manager එකේ look එක completely change වෙනවා activate කරපු command එක අනුව. හැම feature එකටම different property manager view එකක් තියෙනවා. Property Manager එක basically ඔයා execute කරලා තියෙන command එකේ settings control කරන පුළුවන්
උදාහරණයක්:
ඔයා Extruded Cut command එක use කරලා sketch එක cut කරනවා කියලා ගනිමු. ඒ extrude එකේ depth එක, draft angle (thickness taper වෙන angle) වගේ සියලු details Property Manager එකෙන් control කරන්න පුළුවන්
ඒ කියන්නේ, active command එකේ every setting manage වෙන්නේ Property Manager එකෙන්.
Status Bar: Status Bar කියන්නේ SolidWorks® window එකේ ඉහළට bottom side එකේ තියෙන info panel එක. මේකෙන් ඔයාට model, features, sketches වගේ දේවල් ගැන quick status හොයාගන්න පුළුවන්.
Status Bar එකෙන් display වෙනවා:
- Model/Feature/Sketch status
- Coordinates (sketch mode එකේ තියෙනකොට)
- Selected items measurements
- Unit settings
- Tags
- Rebuild icon
Sketching කරන වෙලාවේ status bar එක sketch state show කරනවා — Fully Defined, Under Defined, Over Defined කියලා.
Units change කර ගන්න, full unit settings open කර ගන්න,status bar එක use කරන්න පුළුවන්.
තව Status Bar එකෙන් useful වෙන්නේ:
- Quick measurements check කිරීම
- Model එකට tags add කිරීම
- ඔයා part edit කරනවාද, assembly edit කරනවාද කියලා විදිහ identify කිරීම
- Errors අවොත් reason එක guess කරන්න
- Sketch/Feature/Assembly එක fully defined ද නැද්ද check කරන්න
Main important point එක — solid design intent maintain කරන්න නම්
එක් එක් sketch, feature, assembly එකම fully defined වෙන්න ඔනේ. fully defined ද නැද්ද කියන එක Status Bar quickly check කර ගන්න පුළුවන්.
Task Pane: Task Pane කියන්නේ SolidWorks® window එකේ right side එකේ තියෙන panel එක. මේ panel එකේ තියෙන්නේ resources සහ add-ins — model එක directly change කරන options නෙවෙයි, modeling process එකේ support දෙන tools.
Task Pane එකේ ගොඩක් useful tabs තියෙනවා:
- SolidWorks® Resources tab
- Design Library tab
- File Explorer tab
- View Palette tab (SolidWorks® drawings වලට మాత్రమే active)
- Appearances tab
- Custom Properties tab
- SolidWorks® Forums tab
2020 release එකට පස්සේ 3DExperience Marketplace එකත් Task Pane එකේ add වෙලා තියෙනවා.
Overall, Task Pane එක කියන්නේ modeling වල help කරන support center වගේ එකක්.
Design Intent
- New length එකට resize කරද්දි hole locations ඔයට ඕනේ විදියට Change වෙනවා නම්
- ඔයා දෙන dimensioning scheme එක original 50mm length එකටත්, අලුත් length එකටත් correct hole locations maintain කරලා දෙනවා නම්.
